promoting use of your national forest land by extending the cave contest indefinitely!

NATIONAL FOREST DUE TO THE WHITE NOSE SYNDROME THAT IS KILLING THOUSANDS OF BATS.

Cave Clues:
1. ArdPark property is at benchmark elevation. Caves are low so it's down a hill you must go.
2. Sometimes I have water, sometimes I do not.
3. Forty acres equals 1/4 mile x 1/4 mile (see topo map in cabins)
4. On the forest trail, if you go to the right, go to the left. If you go to the left, go to the right.
5. There is plenty of room for a group photo under my overhang but you would have to duck walk to get inside.
6. At my small exit hole, it's like air conditioning blowing out the side of the mounded ground.
7. Near my entrance there is a small metal sign designating me as a natural geological site.

*Fall Fun & Pumpkin Contest*

During any cabin or campground stay in October 2010, we'll provide you all the fixings to make s'mores and
give you a free square of firewood for your campfire. You bring a pumpkin to carve, decorate, shoot or whatever
you want to do to make it a Jack-O-Lantern! There are no rules so be creative. Make it a family or group event.
You can write your name on the bottom of your pumpkin and leave your work of art behind or leave us a clear
picture and evidence that you made it at ArdPark. At the end of the month, our judges will vote to select the 3
best pumpkins. Pictures of all pumpkins will be posted on our website. Winners will be surprised when their
prize shows up in their mail. Come on out this October and enjoy the colors and weather of Fall!

As many of you know, a portable toilet is provided to our
guests at the Courtois Cabana from June 1 to August 31.
